Our goal is to count how many emails and calls were made by our sales reps.

 

To do that, I created a custom formula field that is looking for keywords ("Call" and "Email") in Activity History on Opportunities.

 

When I run the report, for some of opps, for instance, it is said to have 3 records but they actually have 1 email and 1 call made.Discrepancy between record count and actual counts

 

I'm not sure why it is said that we have records since there is nothing logged for these opps.

 

The reason why we have those custom fields is that we are using the Gmail addon and our sales log every email and when a call is made, they simply log it in Salesforce.
