Here is the instruction I got from Salesforce:
Upon checking, the event creation is being done via the 'New Event' action. To set your expectation, quick actions such as the 'New Event' action are record type specific. That being said, you will need to other 'New Event' action for the other 2 record types.
I am trying to get this to work but keep getting error messages because when I click on relate to other object (a required field) there are no options, also when I click on record type none of my new record types are showing. Please help!

Hi Dea,
Which object is this new event related to? The proper process of creating a new event button is by going to the main object that it is related to and create the action from there.
The format would look like this.
