I'm working on a flow to update contact records so that the owner ID matches that of the associated account ID. Cross-referencing the Account object appears to be a sticking point and I'm stumped as to how to pull thru the Account owner to the Contact object. Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you working on visual flow or process builder ? You can achieve it with both of them.
Can you sceenshot where you're stucked so we can help you ?
