I followed the exact steps for creating a global action in the Salesforce Mobile App Customization in the Sales Admin track. Incidentally, the next module was creating an object-specific action, followed those steps exactly as well, and it worked perfectly fine. I feel it must be a configuration issue, but I am new to Salesforce. I have been in IT for a very long time, and following directions is like an oath to me. When I am on my desktop later, I can cut and paste the directions that I followed. I see the field that I added to the global layout, it is the first field there, but it doesn’t appear on my mobile app my phone.
