add new contacts into running journey

Using Journey Builder (not the Simple Email Send), if I have a Data Extension that I populate from a flat file (CSV) lets say it has 100 records in it. I activate the Journey on 12/10/2020. Then a week later I get 25 new contacts that my client wants to add to the Journey. Is there a way to "inject" these into the existing/running Journey? Can I just add them to the existing Data Extension? 

 

I would think this is possible, but I can't find out how.

    Hi jason spence,

     

    responding to your query, you have to use API event as an entry source in journey builder and drop the data into the data extension, whenever you drop some data into DE the journey will fire automatically for the newly updated records !! hope this will help you ...
