Because we have a large # of users (~90) across the world, it's becoming more and more difficult to stress to users that they need to keep their "Expected Close Date" current. We have an alert/notification send to the user on the day of the close date, which tells them to close the opp or push the Expected Close Date out [the alert then goes out every day for 5 days if they don't make the update].

However, the email often goes overlooked. Rather than continue to badger them - I was wondering if the community has any tips for developing automatic prompts within Salesforce to nudge the users to maintain that data point.

Any suggestions?

    Hi Thomas,

Instead of daily emails, try Salesforce Flows to show in-app reminders when close dates are outdated. You can also use Slack alerts, Chatter posts, or Einstein Next Best Action to nudge users directly in their workflow.
