We have SFMC and SFSC connected. Client receives Email. He never opts out. But shortly after receiving email the Field "E-Mail-Opt-Out" was flagged to "true" and also he is deactivated in MC´s All Subscribers (including History "Unsubscribe" enntry).

 

All Information says: "Client has opted out by clicking opt out link in email". But client says: "I never did".

 

We have no processes in SFMC or SFSC that affect the system based E-Mail-Opt-Out.

 

This might sound strange.  Does anybody have similar experiences / ideas for solutions? +

    Hi Dirk,

     

    Is the email sent is dome via automation? If there is an automation in place which which has steps like once email is sent update All sub with some data then this might be one issue.

     

    Generally this kind of issue is encountered by an automation result. If not then due to some mistake client might had click on Un subscribe link. Please re-verify by sending a test email
