I have created a sandbox for a 3rd party and I can log in by adding .sandbox name to my login but how can I give access to the 3rd party person? Does this use a SFDC seat?
Typically your "real" users do not need to log into Sandbox. So you can make inactive some of the users of the main org, and create a user in Sandbox for the third party developer.
