I have defined discount schedule ties as below :

I understand that the upgrade amendment behavior is that to take the amended quantity only (as cross order is not ticked as i don't want the discount tier based on the total quantity). So for example if on the contract quantity is 10 and I amend the contract to add 2, the "No Discount" tier will be used.
My question is what is the expected behavior for downgrade? For example, if I have 12 now and want to reduce it to 8 , which tier should be used?
I tested it it seems that it uses the tier that includes the negative quantity. In the above example, effective quantity will be -4 , and 4 falls into "5 to 9 Units" tier.
It doesn't make sense, is this expected?

@swapnil, Sorry my bad, there is a mistake in my description. it should read: quantity will be -4 , and 4 falls into "No Discount" tier.
so the observed behaviour is it picked the tier for the reduction quantity (-4) so it picked the no discount tier.
