Hi all.. I am trying to build out a report that shows the last stage an opportunity was in before it went closed lost. I'm using the opportunity history report, but some opportunities are showing up multiple times as the stages may have moved forward and backward multiple times. I then get "duplicate" opportunities in my chart. In the screenshot below, that opportunity would show up in my chart three times (once for each "from stage"), but I only want it to show once. Generally, if I could just narrow it down to the most recent stage change, that would be good. So, is there any way to filter out to the most recent stage change only, or is there any way this could be done through a custom field/automated process?
The history report will show all stage changes as you have stated. if you truly want to capture that you could make a custom field and when an opp is closed lost you populate that field with the prior value of the stage.
