We just implemented SF late April 2021. As I am loading historical emails, calls, or meetings that are relevant to our current opportunities, I found that my last activity date on the opportunity object is showing the date when I entered the event in the system even though I modified the start and end date to reflect when the event actually happened. Is this expected behavior?

    Thanks for the references. I had reviewed the documentation prior to posting my question, but I am still not understanding because on this opportunity I only have the one related event and no other tasks nor any other events nor calls. Also this is the only opportunity for the account. The related account and contact only have this one event too. There are no other tasks nor events nor calls. The last activity date is showing as May 14. I added the event on May 17 not on May 14. There is no due date field on this event activity, at least not one I can see or edit. The start and end dates are March 17. Does this make sense?
