Way to utilize $User.Alias in reports?

Question

Is there a way to use $User.Alias to produce a report of all the opportunities last touched by the logged-in user?  Simply applying the filter Last Modified Alias = "$User.Alias" doesn't work

Yes, but you need to create a custom Formula field on the Object in the Reports like this

Datatype = Formula

Result = Checkbox

Formula =

LastModifiedBy.Alias = $User.Alias
