Problem: Something changed and the employee now has access to all lead records. I have been trying to retrace my steps to figure out what changed, but so far have not been able to locate the cause of the change. Obviously, as the only admin in the org, I must've changed some setting, etc. without realizing the implications.
Questions:
- Looking back: what common places should I be investigating to see what happened? or...
- Looking forward: forget the past. If OWDs for Leads is Public R/W/T, how could I go about limiting a single user to only the records he owns on that object?

Hmm...you've got me stumped. in an instance with Public R/W and so long as he had read access on the object, not seeing how he would be restricted?
