@Mentioning Chatter users who are not members of a group

Question

In a post to a Chatter group, if I @mention a user who is not a member of that group, will that user be able to see the post?

Hi Tommy,   It will depend on the group 'Chatter Settings', if it is set up as public, yes the will recieved the @mention.    Not when is set as 'Private'.   Hope this helps :)   Ines
