We're recently moved to Salesforce from SalesforceIQ. One of our most loved features in IQ was the ability to see all historical emails sent to a contact via users, synced via gmail. And this means emails dating back 2-3 years before IQ was enabled were seen in the timeline.

Salesforce's Einstein Activity Capture proposes to do the same and does show emails sent a contact via users - however, I can only see email activity from the date user connected his/her gmail account and no historical email. 

Is this a limitation of EAC or am I doing something wrong? Please advice on how I get to see historical emails.
