Why a standard field would not display on a standard report?

I am using the Case standard report but the created by field is not displaying. I have check field level securtiy as well as the report types. Any thoughts?

    Josh,

     

    All the fields are displayed on the left side of the Pane. search for Created by field and it should show if you have checked the filed level security. Please see the screenshot below:
