I'm completing the unit "Subscribe to event channels" and I'm stuck on the Git/Maven/JDK section. I don't know how to get those to work. Help?

I downloaded Git and got it working, but Maven and JDK are escaping me. Is there a good tutorial out there to get those 3 programs playing nicely so I can use event channels? 

 

Becuase they look awesome in terms of automating some of the manual work I have to do.

    Done, JDK was failing to install becuase of admin access issues.
