My dashboard component says "We can't draw this chart because there is no data." I've seen this question posted and I've tried the workaround listed here:

https://success.salesforce.com/issues_view?id=a1p3A0000008uT4QAI&title=lightning-experience-dashboard-table-component-showing-no-data-in-lightning

but I am still having no luck in getting my dashboard component to show a chart. I don't want to switch to Classic to see this component because my users have only used Lightning experience. Is there any way to fix this issue? The component not showing data is currently listed as the first dashboard component but it still isn't showing data.

I spoke with support and they were able to help me resolve the issue. I was told this is mainly an issue with reports filtering activites or opportunities. If you are having this issue, give this a shot:

Run your report in Classic and select Customize --> Select Report Properties and uncheck the Save Hierarchy Level checkbox --> save the report and return to lightning --> refresh your dashboard and the component should appear with data

I was also linked to this article, although this was not related to my issue: https://success.salesforce.com/issues_view?id=a1p3A000000JX1VQAW
