I have a question. How to restrict the user to change Opportunity Stages manually because we have made functionality to auto change stages after invoices and payments.
Any help would be appreciated.

@Robin Wijnen how can we achieve this. - Go for the Validation Rule but ensure that the rule is only fired when a user changes the field and not when your automation process updates the stage.
