Process Builder email alert success attribute

Question

I have a Process Builder that invokes an email alert and also updates a custom boolean field to signify that an email was sent. The field updates regardless of the email alert being successful or not. Is there a way to retrieve an email success attribute to include in the custom field update logic?

I am not fully sure that we can do this. But you can give it a try using Email Message and process builder so whenever an email is sent it will create a record and you can fire process builder on the Email message to store the response.
