My organization is looking for a way to sort the information in a report (after running it) without having to export the details. We want to be able to customize a report, run it, and then in the full report view do things like sorting by name in alphabetical order, sorting by donation in ascending/descending order, etc. We want to be able to do this in Salesforce and not have to export the details to a third-party program like Excel.

    On the report after running it, you can click on the column heading to sort that column in ascending or decending order.

     

    The column that is being sorted will have an arrow next to it indicating how it is being sorted.
