Hi,

 

We want to track the accounts where no activity is logged in by the account owner. There may be other acivities, but we want to track activities by the account owner.

 

How can I create a checkbox field "Assigned to Account Owner" to use as a filter on the report?

    Oh, I see. 

     

    I was unsure you could do this, so I checked the org I was in to verify.  That org has a custom Account Lookup field on Activities, so that's what I was seeing, not the "Related To" field.  Sorry about that!  It looks like you can't access the Account in the Realted To field with a formula field on Activities then.  

     

    I think you would need to automate pushing the Related to value into an Account custom look up field if it is an Account, then you could build that formula.  I think you would need a trigger for this, because I dont believe process builder can do that kind of an update with the Related To field on tasks either.  

     

    Perhaps someone else will have an idea, but I can't think of another way to approach it to make this work.
