Correct - Name is required and cannot be undone. I believe it will only require the Last Name. Then you can drag Company Name onto the layout as it is a standard field. You can decide on a protocol for filling in the name field when you don't have a name "Unknown" would be valid. If once the lead is contacted the name is acquired it can be updated.
