How to set up region(EMEA; APAC; NA) based territory model, assignment rule

We'd like to set up a territory model based on regions (EMEA;APAC; NA).

In the assignment rules, I could set filters by e.g. country code.

But actually there is no information existing yet that captures the region. Is there (e.g. from Salesforce) an official list with country codes that are belonging to EMEA, list belonging to APAC etc.?

But even with that list, I doubt that the filter window is big enough to copy&paste them in and e.g. define country code equals : list of all country codes in EMEA...

What's the best practice to achieve my request?

Unfortunately we can't set it up base on zip code or country, we do not want to go more granular than the regions...
