How do I Access the Approval Object????

Question

Hi I would like to know how do I access the approval object to make changes?

I would like to write a vlidation rule for this section below.

I was looking in the custom object section of setup in Salesforce but I'm not sure which one is which?

I am sorry! No, we cannot write Validation Rules for the Approval object. There isn't any easy solution for this.   The one that I know requires some Apex -  http://christopheralunlewis.blogspot.com/2012/09/making-rejection-comments-mandatory-in.html

No, you can do that. You can however setup a  Criteria [1] for your Approval Process but NOT a Validation Rule.   [1]:  Control Which Records Apply to an Approval Step
