I've made quite a few changes to the Opportunity Page Layout in the Sandbox environment. This has included;
- Removing fields
- Adding new fields
- Changing the look of the page layout (moving fields about).
When I move this page layout into production, is there a way to keep the old page layout for historical periods, and use this 'new' page layout moving forward? I don't want to lose any data for the historical opportunities.
Any advise would be great. Thanks!

Hi Jay,
You won't lose any data. Data in the fields that you are no longer displaying will still be there, just not visible in new page layout. If you create an Opportunity report you will be able to report on those fields that are no longer visible in page layout and see the historical information.
