I'm dealing with this issue. We have a picklist with tens of values on our opportunity page. Depending on which picklist value is choosen I need to imput some values into custom textfields on opportunity page. Is there any easy solution? We are running on SF Enterprise.

you can also use field dependency in detail page itself
