Upgrade Source to be based on custom field on Asset object

Question

here is my requirement, if Asset of Product X, and a custom field PM is true, then the available upgrade option should be Product Y-UPG.

If Asset of Product X and custom field PM is false, then the available upgrade option should be Product X-UPG

I am aware of upgrade source available on a Product, but that doesn't allow any field from Asset. How do I achieve this?
