Hey guys - gold medal for someone who can point me to the right direction...

 

My standard admin profile can see create "New Lead" in Gmail for Salesforce as per screenshot below. However, the custom profile is missing the "New Lead" option. They can create Leads no problem, they're just missing this particular option in Gmail add-on. Any ideas?

    Hey Andrew,

     

    Thank for your response. It sounds logical. However, still not working for me. I did this test:

     

    1. Created new global action for new Lead with specific record type.

     

    2. I added this action to the new ADMIN Global Publisher Layout.

    Yet still, the panel in Gmail is showing same list of records to create as before.

    It updated ion the SF Mobile app, but not in Gmail.

     

    I think it must be something to do with the profile settings? Before posting this question here, all users & profiles had same Global Layout assigned. Yet, when I temporarily assigned my Admin profile to the user that was missing creation of Lead record, she could see the 4 options as per last screenshot.

     

    Any further thoughts?
