When I update the contact field "Title" on a contact I own, it soon reverts to its prior value.   I tried deleting the title manually and also with Dataloader with Insert Null values checked.  Initially the deletion “takes” then five or ten minutes later the prior value reappears.  We have Pardot. Does Pardot have something to do with this anomaly?  Thoughts?

    Depending on your sync settings it is most likely that the Title is syncing from Pardot. Check your settings to see what the settings are. It might be set to Pardot wins. 

     

    Alternatively you may have another automation e.g. workflow/flow/PB etc updating the field. I once had a similar issue and it was syncing with DocuSign... 

     

    You could also enable field tracking on the Title field and see what is updating the field.
