I have a user that gets the email notification when a record is submitted for approval. The link in the email that he clicks to view the record is the sandbox link even though the approval request was submitted from production. The other user that gets the approval email doesn’t have this problem. The record link that is inserted in his email is the record in the production site.

 

Can someone tell me why salesforce would insert a link to a sandbox record for a user?

    Hi Leah,

     

    Are you talking about the same approval process for two users?

     

    You need to go to your approval process and verify the email template used in it to send email notification. Most likely the url to sandbox is hardcoded in there.
