Can newer versions of SharePoint (2010, 2013) receive emails directly from Salesforce?

I would like to help,  but would you  be able to further elaborate on type of a process you are referring to or trying to implement. Would this be for every email, a specific set of emails, etc?  Once I have a better understanding of what you are trying to accomplish perhaps I can suggest some alternatives.  In the mean time I have included some helpful documents that better  explain how things are connected when it comes to SharePoint:
