Hi guys,

I was reading another question about the availability of sales force outlook support for 2013 - many comments being frustrated about the lack of support - however some people did post workarounds - this was to install outlook 2010 alongside 2013 and then install salesforce for outlook and remove outlook 2010 after - however I have installed outlook 2010 alongside 2013 but when I run sf for outlook, it says it needs 2010 to run and ends the installation. Does anyone know specifically what the installer searches for to begin the install?

I definitely would not recommend trying to find a workaround on how to install the Salesforce for Outlook connector with Outlook 2013. You may end up with unknown results such as duplicate data.

Take a look at LinkPoint's Outlook integration, the #1 app on the AppExchange, which already supports Outlook 2013.
