dynamic action button to open report by Account

I need a dynamic action button on Account to open a report (by account ID.) the report is pulling the account id from transaction line --> Transaction --> Account --> Account ID

I have the ID filter in the report.

I put in "/00O23000000LF7FEAW?pv0={!Account.Id}" in the button URL. It opens the report, but not dynamic by account.

Not sure what I missed. can anybody help? Thanks

Hi Tina,

there is a how-to video on how to filter reports based on url paramters:

in the video they use &fv0={!Account.Name} attached to the base url of the report to filter a report dynamically. The Account Name filter in the report is set to '' so that the initial report actually shows no data.
