How to allocate campaign influence to the first associated campaign on a lead/contact.

Primary Campaign uses the most recent campaign for allocation. I need to allocate the campaign influence percentage to the first campaign associated with the contact that was used to create the opportunity. Does anyone know how this may be accomplished?

    Hi Michelle,

     

    The auto-population of the primary campaign source based on the most recent campaign seems like the standard behavior when you click on New Opportunity within the Contact. I think what needs to be done here is to find a way to change the auto-population which can only be done via a custom button when you're using the classic ui(if possible), or use an automation to populate the primary campaign field based on the first campaign, which may need a custom code/trigger.
