Hi Everyone!

 

We receive PO's and order requests from customers to an outlook inbox and then our sales ops team manually processes those orders within SFDC. Other than a brand new CPQ system, does anyone have any ideas of how to streamline or automate this type of process? We don't want to give partners access to our system, but we need a way to get their PO's into SFDC and somehow automate some of this... but I am at a total loss as to what tools, apps or products we could/should use.

    Hi Michelle, 

     

    There are a number of ways you could tackle this. I would recommend outlining your requirements and engaging with someone who can give you some advice based on the specificities of what you need. There are a couple of Apps/Products that you might consider below.

    • FormAssembly - enable you to custom crate fomrs that directly add data into Salesforce without granting access to the Org 
    • Salesforce Partner Community - this would allow your partners to log into a section of your Salesforce (you can heavily restrict the access) and submit their PO's themselves for processing. This advantage of this is they could following this keep track of their applications and status of the PO 
    • Email-to-lead - could add some of the data into Salesforce directly from the email.
