    So basically i found the answer myself, we have to make sure that in the email to salesforce setting for a particular make sure that there is a correct PRVS Format  for example if the user name is john myers and has an email john.myers@xyz.com but in the email to salesforce its jmyers@xyz.com make sure you change to the correct format which is john.myers@xyz.com....hope I didnt confuse anyone!!!! :)
