appointments not showing

I am having some difficulty with appointments showing up on my dashboard and I wanted to give you an example. The account name is XYZ and it's owned by ABC. He set the appointment and then closed it out, and neither transaction shows in my dashboard for this week. Can someone tell me why its not showing up??

    Soemone else created it?

     

    Is the start date in the future? Is it an Event opposed to task?

     

    Are you set as the Assigned to? Are you in the Invitee list?

     

    In order for an 'appointment' to show up in the calendar home page component:

    • It must be in the next 7 days (not in the past)

    • It must be assigned to you, or

    • You must be in the invitee list
