The email was sent 30 days ago, which I understand the "link" to the attachments expires after 30 days. But the files are still in the email and are only 249 kb.

When I click on "view", i get a message "Please contact the email sender to view this attachment."

How can I retrieve these files?

Thanks

Cindy

Why can't I view an attachment for an Outbound email message?

Hope this helps for future sreach

-The salesforce link for attachments will expire in 30 days

    - EmailMessage & Attachment records are created for every email sent from native salesforce or via the API (regardless of attachment size)

    - EmailMessage & Attachment records count toward the overall storage limit

    - EmailMessage & Attachment must records must be deleted by customer to reduce the amount of storage used

    - EmailMessage & Attachment records are essentially a history of emails and related attachments sent -> Customer compliance could dig through these records to find a previously sent email with associated attachment(s) (assuming the records were not intentionally deleted by customer )
