I have an opp history report that was created to show all opps that stayed in the stage "Docs Requested" for more than 1 day.  Currently it is set to pull by the Owner of the Opp, but we have a custom User Field called "User Team" that we would like to use.  This makes it so that we don't have to update all of the reports for teams every time an employee switches teams, joins the company, etc.  As far as I can tell, I cannot create a custom Opp History report type to include this User Team.  Does anyone know if this is possible? Or know of any other workaround that would make it so that the reports don't have to be constantly updated?

There's the option to summarize information by Opp Owner Info, but this doesn't include User Team.

    Okay here's what you need to do... 

     

    Create a new field on the Opportunity Object.

     

    Select 

     

    Datatype = Formula

     

    Result = Text 

     

    Then using the Advanced Formula Tab and the Insert Field button Navigate to the Opporunity Owner> Lookup field and click through that into the Owner(User) object and insert the custom field you wanna use in your Report

     

    Okay here's what you need to do... Create a new field on the Opportunity Object.

    Then so back to your Opportunity History report and look for the name of your Formula(Text) field that you just created
