How can I change status of all tasks

Question

Hi - I have about 100 open tasks and want to change every single one of them to Closed. Is there a way I can bath the change and do it just once to all tasks universally rather than do each individually? Thanks.

Yes there is a way.

You can export these tasks into excel, make sure you pull down ID and Status (and any other field you want to Modify). Make the necessary changes in excel.

Save as .CSV

Then use the Apex Data Loader to update these records.
