The system will not allow me to close a case. It says I need to contact the owner, but I am the owner of the case. What do I need to do to close the case?

The system will not allow me to close a case. It says I need to contact the owner, but I am the owner of the case.  What do I need to do to close the case?

    Hi Loyal,

     

    Looks like there is a validation rule preventing you from closing the case.The owner might not necessarily be the Case owner, it could be either Account or Contact owner that case is assigned to, Please contact your system administrator for further details.
