not showing field details in reports of salesforce.

While I have entered the field from the drop down list in report to provide the managers name, the manager field is not updating the managers name in it. Although the managers has been assigned to every account . But somehow not displaying the field. Even though, field name is also in the report type. Mentioned in the page layout. 

 

Can some one please tell me about, how to populate the field in the report, so that it will not pop-up blank value in the dashboard.

    In your report, make sure 'Show Deetails' has been checked. This will include all data in fields you have access to.   If it is already checked, then maybe you don't have access to the field due to 'field level security'.  Does the column show up in the report with no data, or does the column not even appear?
