Running a report to show contact details and Account Team members

We use Account teams and I have been asked to produce a report to show all Contacts that fit a certain criteria, plus the Account owner and name of their Account Team member.

 

I have tried to create a new custom report type with the primary object of Contacts, but Account is not showing in the B option.

 

I have tried creating a related list lookup on contact linking to Account, but still cannot get Account to show up on the custom report type.

 

Are there any suggestions as to how I can get round this?

    Hi Sunil,

     

    This report is going to be required on a regular basis and I think similar report requests will only increase as we expand our use of Account Teams. :(

     

    I was hoping I could create some link between the two objects that would make life easier, sadly it doesn't look that simple!
