I am new in salesforce and I experienced a problem. I am trying to import a scv file to my leads but a message comes:
Lead ID: ID column must be mapped when importing by salesforce.com ID
This problem prevents import from proceeding.
I have a column ID in my scv file and I am trying to map it in custom fields. Can sb explain me the proccess please?
Do I have to create a custom field and choose a data type from the list and if yes which one?

I'm a bit fuzzy, I haven't uploaded data in a while.
I seems that you are selecting to match the items by Lead ID. Inherently, you're not matching records, you're uploading new records. Select to match by Name, or just to upload new and you should be able to upload without a hassle.
