How do I export particular leads into excel?

I am new to sales force and can't figure out how to export my leads into excel? I need the data for a particular group of leads to be exported - all I can find is how to import and how to do reports on lead stats but I need the actual data exported... Help?

    The easiest way to do this is to create a report on the leads that you want to export and then use the export details button after running the report http://na14.salesforce.com/help/doc/en/reports_export.htm

     

    Also if you are using EE or UE you could export using the Apex Data Loader.
