i have created a Folder Structure for reports and made them visible only for the right department.
For example: Only Marketing can see Marketing Folders.
I gave them Read/write access.
Everyting worked pretty well but than somebody tried to edit the report and tried to save it over that old.
It was impossible but the person created the report.
Now is my question how can i give them "edit" rights in these folders.
Please let me know
Sebastian

If you give someone read/write access to a report folder, they can create a new report and save in that folder OR they can customize a report and "Save As" in that folder.
They cannot "Save" over a report unless they have "Manage Public Reports" permission, which is set on their profile.
However, it looks like there is a beta feature out there now that will allow you to specific which profiles/groups/roles can EDIT all reports in a specific folder, without giving the users "Manage Public Reports" permissions.
