Hi,

 

Because we have so many campaigns and the bucket limit is too low for us, we want to group them and create a new field to store new values that can be used to create report and dashboard. I would like to know how complex the CASE or IF THEN statement could be if we have about 100 campaigns and want to end up with about 15 new groups. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Hi Justin,

     

    For example, we want to group all opportunities by primary campaign source. We have 100 primary campaign sources, and if we don't narrow donw the list of primary campaign sources, the pie chart (or any other charts) would be meaningless. So we want to group primary campaign sources first (maybe we will get 20 grouped campaign sources), and use the new field to group all opportunities. Hope this helps. Thank you!
