When I merge two Accounts (A1 and A2), will Contacts in A1 be transferred to A2?

Hi,

 

I have a duplicate account, for example, A1 and A2 (so when you search A, both of them will show up). I want to merge them. Will contacts in A1 be transferred to A2 if A2 will be the master Account?

    Short answer is yes.  But now that you have done that you may want to check for contact dupes for you account.
