Does anyone have a good process for auditing/reviewing knowledge articles which have been published for some time?

 

We are just turning on service cloud and knowledge in our company and are trying to figure out how to make a process for reviewing our knowledge database articles every 6 months to ensure accuracy and validity.  I've tried creating a custom date field on my knowledge article for Review Date and then using a workflow rule to update that field to a formula of Today () + 180 once an article is published, however the rule never set a date in that date field.

 

I've also tried creating a report and adding a formula to the report to calculate the number of days since the last published date, however I get errors about the Last Published Date field when I try to save the formula.

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Can you explain in detail  please ! beacuse i am trying to build this one but some how it is crashing
